Warm It Up: Savory Spiced Nut Blend


A RECIPE FOR YOU. Super simple. Anti-inflammation is at the core of this flavorful blend. Also amazing as a top to Carrot Ginger Coconut Soup <3

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted slivered almonds

  • 1/2 raw unsalted pumpkin seeds (pepitas)

  • 1/2 raw unsalted sunflower seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 3/4 teaspoon curry powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon fine grain pink mountain sea salt (such as Real Salt)

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar (such as Bragg’s)

Method:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Melt coconut oil. Mix apple cider vinegar into all seeds and spices in a bowl until fully covered with spice mix. Then mix in coconut oil. Transfer to parchment paper covered baking sheet. Roast for 25 minutes. Best stored in a glass mason jar. Allow to cool and enjoy!
