Cannabis: CBD + the Wellness Industry
I’M SURE YOU’D AGREE that 2020 has been one incredibly interesting year, to say the absolute least. An array of deep seeded emotions, transformations, beginnings + endings and hopefully great insight into what may be at the top of the priority list in wellness - emotional, physical, societal, and political.
This year, I’ve began working with the Minneapolis based women owned and operated premium CBD company BLNCD Naturals… pronounced as balanced. The amount I’ve learned about cannabis - both THC and CBD - has been transformative to how I approach both my daily routines as well as my professional healing arts practice. The properties of the plant have only just begun to open us to its power of possibilities for the wellness and beauty industry.
Currently, I’m working in research and development for spa - massage and energy healing - protocols to utilize the line and showcase the beauty and wellbeing available by incorporating CBD into daily life. Playing with products such as CBD Massage Oil (backbar only.. I will keep you posted to spaces in your area that offer the protocols), Cannabis Infused Face Oil (which is beautifully composed by one of the founders and experienced esthetician), Revival Body Oil - an absolute mood boost - and more to be revealed. For the industries of beauty, wellness, salons and spas, I’m so looking forward to seeing these spaces of healing offering services that incorporate CBD as a regular service. An industry that can greatly improve the quality and widen the offerings of experience. Whether being received as the client or as the providing practitioner, CBD can provide a soothing and balancing experience that melts away elements of stress, anxiety, body aches and more (below is a slideshow that provides a deeper dive with credits to BLNCD Naturals).
As a whole, we are really just beginning to not only learn, but also understand and implement in daily life, the benefits of Cannabis in a real and stigma barrier breaking way through education. During my training with the company, I’ve learned about their commitment to transparency of sourcing and production as well as the quality, care and thought that goes into each composition. Truly inspiration for the wellness, beauty + cannabis industry.
You’ll find a slideshow below that allows you to dig a little deeper into the company, cannabis and goods that weave seamlessly into the wellness industry. I would be happy to answer questions you may have as a client, a retail location or as a practitioner on all things CBD. Please send me a note directly to rachel@blncdnaturals.com and we can go from there.
Be well and all the gratitude,
Rachel Lyn
